The Princess told Perseus her story. Perseus than spoke to her
parents and agreed with them that if he saved their daughter, and rid
Ethiopia of the beast they would give him their daughter's hand in marriage.
The monster then appeared and rushed towards the coast. Perseus then
opened his bag and pulled the head of Medusa out. The monster gazed
upon Medusa's head and the curse that had befallen so many others fell
upon it as well. The monster turned to stone, for no one could look
upon Medusa and not turn to stone!
Perseus then freed Andromeda and took her as his wife.
Andromeda was changed into a constellation upon her death, the only
constellation with a spiral nebula in the northern constellation visible to
the unaided eye.
